Cloud-init - iptables integration

I’ve seen some topics /about iptables - cloud-init integration/ that have been already started:

• https://github.com/rancher/os/issues/446
• Persistent iptables rules (or load iptables rules at startup)

Unfortunately they don’t seem to be a valid solutions anymore. Is there any other way to configure iptables as part of cloud-init?

You can use post_up.

There is an example in the docs.
