Cut & Paste Permissions - USB Memory Stick - SLES10 VM

I want to cut and paste files from a USB Memory Stick to a virtual
machine running SLES10. I Connect to USB Device > Memory Stick and can
see the files in Console and hit Copy. But when I try to paste them into
a SLES10 directory using Gnome Terminal, I get “Permission Denied”. How
can I get this permission using Yast? I don’t want to modify
etc/permissions.easy unless I have to.
