My concern appeared on initial O.S. installation of SUSE LINUX ENTERPRISE.
Presuming that the NVIDIA package is “made by NVIDIA” - I think it is safe to presume that if I’ve got NVIDIA branded hardware installed on my system, I’d have bigger “trust” problems than any kind of “official support software” for that hardware. Can someone please figure out how (and then proceed) to mark the NVIDIA package as “TRUSTED”?
If it turns out that the NVIDIA package is not MADE BY NVIDIA (or trusted partners, etc.) - maybe it should not be permitted to use the NVIDIA brand name in its package title.
Thank You,
