SambaLMPassword,LDAP and YaST user managment

Since we migrated our Samba user accounts from smbpasswd file to LDAP it
is not possible to change user properties (e.g. group membership) with
YaST user managment module. If I want to change an account the error
message “Change the password to create the Samba account”. If I change
the password I can change the user properties. The reason for this
behavior was the missing SambaLMPassword attribute, but I don’t want to
set this weak and deprecated LANManager password.
Is there an configuration option to prevent YaST from using the
SambaMPassword?
