SLES11 fails to install under Hercules 3.12, operation excep

Hello everyone,

I’m trying to install SLES s390x both SLES11 and SLES12 under hercules. After issuing ipl /srv/ftp/iso/suse.ins, a bit of processing goes on then I get an operation exception with the following;

Hercules then goes into a hard wait.

Is there anything I’m missing. My Hercules version is 3.12.

Hello everyone,

I have the install running, which means zLinux is running on my Hercules. I see message, some being;

… messages …

FS-Cache: Loaded
FS-Cache: Netfs ‘nfs’ registered for caching…

… etc …

The solution, I used Hercules 3.07. Looks like 3.12 has a bug. It’s is Hercules not zLinux :wink:
