SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP1 SAP Testdrive

Hello,

I installed the testdrive on vmware without problems.

However now I have to change the network configuration but only the
user testdrive is documented. Does anybody knows the default password of
root of this testdrive installation?

Have you tried ‘novell’? Yes I know it’s a SUSE product but ‘novell’ is
the usual password.

To save you trying, no it’s ‘novell’ or any other demo password I’ve
previously become aware of.

I’ve therefore reported this to Novell (as well as the general lack of
information on the download page) though with it being Thanksgiving in
the US the earliest I may get a response is Monday.

If the testdrive comes from SUSE Studio, try “linux”, as that’s the
default password set up in Studio if no other password is entered.

Nope it’s not ‘linux’ either.

Let’s see what my contacts come up with, hopefully the beginning of next
