What happened to the gluster catalogs?

I stumbled across this commit that removes the gluster catalog entries.

Why? And what is the preferred method moving forward for floating volumes between hosts?

We have removed GlusterFS and Convoy Gluster from the catalog as users were expecting a robust tool as an alternative persistent storage for Docker volumes. However, due to lack of active maintenance, we cannot recommend this solution going forward.

Instead, we recommend and certify Convoy NFS, which is actively maintained by Rancher.

Hi @jmreicha !

In fact, the convoy-nfs catalog entry is a good choice, you can still use a custom glusterfs via the nfs export option, or using the nfs gateway of MapRFS if you are on premise, or using AWS EFS if you are on AWS cloud.

Makes sense, I will try out NFS. Thanks!

Is there a guide or resources for getting convoy-nfs initially set up? EFS isn’t an option in at least one of my environments.
