API - Updating service returns error

Has anyone managed to successfully curl a service to update?

I have attempted to update a service as described in the following “Upgrade Rancher Service using REST API”.

I am curling using the API upgrade but i get an error of LaunchConfig/secondaryLaunchConfigs need to be specified for inService strategy.

Any help would be much appreciated

I’m stuck on this as well, without any light at the end of the tunnel… Help appreciated.

  • post(param=load) was consuming lifetime
  • post(json=load) finally made my day
