I am currently running Rancher server on a single VPS. I want to be able to manage the cluster via Rancher even if the VPS running Rancher server goes down. I checked the HA doc on https://rancher.com/docs/rancher/v2.x/en/installation/ha/ but it looks a bit confusing.
My question is: Would it work if I
- get etc and controlplane running on multiple nodes
- install Rancher server on another VPS (let’s call this one Rancher server 2) and import the cluster I created on the first rancher
