Anyone tried to patch a SLES 15 like a transaction server?

Hello Community,

I am trying to figure it out how the openSUSE Transaction server is doing it’s stuff, as I would like to minimize the downtime of our machines by patching the system in advance (just like how the Transaction Server in openSUSE behaves) and then just to reboot on the downtime.

Did anyone tried something similar ?

You can avoid reboots with SUSE Linux Enterprise Live Patching:

System Recovery and Snapshot Management with Snapper is a prestate of openSUSE Transaction server.
