I am trying to migrate my appliance from SUSE Studio Onsite to Open Build Service. According to this I should find a file “source.kiwi.txz” after exporting my appliance. In my case the folder only contains a “source” folder, “create_appliance” script and “README” file. Why is there no file “source.kiwi.txz”? Is there a difference if I use SUSE Studio Onsite?
Hi
I’ve asked my SUSE contacts for further info to try and resolve your
issue, stay tuned.

I tried this before but obviously with the wrong options. Now I managed to import the compressed file to the public OBS but within my own OBS instance I had no luck.
However in the public OBS the build is broken. The error tells me: “repo url not using obs:/ scheme: {SLES 11 SP3 Updates x86_64}”. I guess, the source path in config.kiwi is wrong: <source path="{SLES 11 SP3 Updates x86_64}" />
I still have to figure out the correct path.
