HA Installation advantage

Hello, I wanted to know if what are the advantage of a HA installation.

If we’re a small team it does’t matter if Rancher is down for a couple of minutes while updating data. Is it still needed to have a HA installation for production ? If my k8s clusters still working, only rancher will not be accessible or there’s other consideration that I don’t understand ?
