How Big Is Kernel-Default?

I cloned the Just Enough OS and took a look at what was installed.

The Size column reports 223 MB but clicking on the name shows 43.7 MB in
the details.

See image for a discrepancy in reported size.

Which is correct?
Why is there a discrepancy?

I’m not sure, but I think the 47.3M is the size of the RPM that you
download. However, that RPM is compressed. The 223M is the size after
uncompressing.

And, of course, the RPM contains many files that are associated with the
kernel and need to be updated when the kernel is updated.
