How to take backup of cluster.yml file whenever modifications done on the gui page (cluster.yml)

I want to store the rancher cluster.yml file as a backup and automatically update the backup file whenever i modified the actual cluster.yml which is present in rancher cluster.

Exact path of cluster.yml is- Global -> -> settings -> edit
