is it possible to explore SUSE Manager without product keys

I don’t have any Registration codes for SUSE Linux and SUSE Manager products, but I want to evaluate SUSE Manager for Managing, Configuring and deploying the SUSE Linux Servers and I have no intentions to get online updates during this evaluation, as my actual target is to prepare myself for an event where I have to show the capabilities of SUSE Manager with respect to Centralize Management/Administration/Monitoring and Deployments of Linux Servers.

So question here is, if I can achieve the above without product registration codes of SUSE Manager and SUSE Linux Servers ?

Hi
You can download and get an evaluation key to try it out;

I was landed on https://scc.suse.com/launch and got the following info there:
"
Depending on the number of subscriptions and systems associated with your account, this might take up to one day.
We will send a notification e-mail to MYEMAILADD when your data has finished importing
Thanks for testing the SCC Beta!
"
let me rephrase, should I use SUSE Manager for centralized administration, configuration, monitoring and deployment of SUSE Linux, but not for update and patch management ?

Hi
The SCC portal is just the interface to your account for license
management etc, nothing to do with SUSE Manager :wink:

Once you get the email, it should provide the download link to the SUSE
Manager iso image along with the activation code to use when installing.

SUSE Manager does all the updating and patch management etc.
