Make own Security Update Repository?

Hello,

My Company never used updates because we install our own Software and in the old days it created problems. Now due to Shell Shock, they finally want to. But they only want the Security Patches and they want me to set up Server here and not use the on-line/mirror Servers. Is there any way that I can download just the Security Patches that we need and save them here?

SLES11 SP1 and SP2

Thank You and have a nice day

It’s possible for you to download specific updates from
https://download.suse.com/patch/finder/ but with SLES11 SP1 and SLES11
SP2 you’re not likely to find many recent patches.

If you’re concerned about security you first need to get those SLES11
SP1 and SP2 servers upgraded to SLES11 SP3 as there have been other
security issues only addressed with SLES11 SP3.

Note to upgrade SLES11 SP1 to SLES11 SP3 you first need to upgrade to
SLES11 SP2 rather than upgrade directly from SLES11 SP1 to SLES11 SP3.

I am in the same situation, but I am already on SLES11 SP3. How do you guys do it, how is you strategy?
I thought about building a repository only with the patches needed.
