Is any one knows a good free multimedia codec for SLED 12 SP2, like, the mikewillis’s multimedia codec for SLED11/12

Since openSUSE Leap 42.2 base is pulled from SLE, look at using this
repo from packman and see how you go.

I’ll collected some experiences I will report in a separat thread. But the basic trick is following:
a) remove all from SUSE and codecs and VLC and install from www.videolan.org or packman or
ensure to change all files to packman ressource.
b) install ffmpeg via Yast. This contains many codec.

This should work.
