ncpfs rpm

I have a new SuSE 11 sp1 server that I need the ncpmount utility to transfer some data from another server. It is not load now. How do I go about getting the rpm to install it? Can someone tell me where I get it?

http://software.opensuse.org/package/ncpfs

While the site is an opensuse.org site, the list of downloads (and
systems that it hosts repositories for) includes SLES/SLED11 SP1.

My bad, I did post on wrong forum. I wonder if that package gets install with OES? I have servers with SuSE and OES and the package is there, but the ones without the ncpfs package is not there. Thanks for the link.

Assuming you don’t have OES on your system, you need the Novell Client for
(your OS), available from

No, you’re on th eright forum for SLES/SLED. ncpfs is an open-source
implementation of the NCP stack for client operations. I don’t think
it’s installed with OES (I don’t see it on my OES2 box). As Andy said,
though, if it’s SLED or SLES (without OES), you can install the Novell
Client for Linux to get the same functionality (I don’t think you can
install it on a SLES box with OES on it, but I could be wrong about that).

Yes, it is pretty well automatically on OES boxes.

Or rather, I do, when I type the package name correctly. m-/
