Openfiler with pacemaker without DRBD.

Hi,

I’m new with pacemaker and DRBD but unfortunately I have to speed up with my pace for the upcoming project. Previously I have tried configuring pacemaker with DRBD using 2 virtual boxes and it worked fine. Right now I am trying to configure the same but with openfiler instead. My setup would be 2 virtual boxes running DRBD and pacemaker, and one virtual box installed with openfiler.

Conceptually, I feel that there is no need for me to use DRBD since all the files in the openfiler disk will remain available to the second server in case the first server is down. Hence, no replication is needed.

I’m hoping for someone to shed some light on this.
