I am having trouble with making work SUSE Manager Proxy in osad mode, I have successfully configured osad with the clients connected directly to SUSE Manager Server, but I can’t find any documentation about how to do the same with the proxy.
Apart from the documentation issue, osa-distpacher package is not available to be installed in the proxy server.
Any information to help me finish the configuration of osad within the PROXY ??

I do not remember for sure, but I do not think osa-dispatcher ever runs on
a proxy. Instead the notification will come from SUSE Manager’s main box
to the clients, which will then check in with their proxies as
appropriate. Of course, I’m not sure how this all works under the hood
right now and cannot access my 2.1 box due to some lousy VPN issue.
The documentation here contributes to my belief that you should be able to
point to a proxy but then have the main SUSE Manager box start a check for
updates:
