Hi,
Is there any chance to get a GLIBC (GLIBCXX_3.4.19) installed on SLES 11?
strings /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6 | grep GLIB
GLIBCXX_3.4.14
GLIBCXX_3.4.15
GLIBCXX_3.4.16
GLIBCXX_3.4.17
<<<
Currently my System has only GLIBCXX_3.4.17.
Thanks,
Markus Meyer
Hi and welcome to the Forum
What version of SLES 11?
cat /etc/SuSE-release
What your looking for is a later version of gcc, impact of an unsupported version being installed not sure…
At the moment
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 (x86_64)
VERSION = 11
PATCHLEVEL = 3
If needed, I can install SP4.

I know.
Hi
Have a look here: https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/devel:gcc
If you have (or create) a Build Service account you can copy or link the version, but you would probably need to also rebuild for glibc…
SLES 11 SP4 LTSS would not even have, any chance you can update to a supported release?
I’ll start to update to SP4.
Yeah, update to SP4 did the job. Now it works.
Thanks.
