I have laptop with SLED 11 SP2 and I need some codecs. I just found Yours script and I have few question:

is this safe method to compile packages with codecs? I mean its more safe than packman repository? I don’t want to make some mess in my fresh system. Can I completely remove package and all dependencies when it will be requirement?

is this script base on original repositories?

after install builded package i will be able to run all mutlimedia formats? (including some less common like mkv, 3gp, mp4 etc…)

Seems I have dependencies error:
checking for GST… no
configure: No package ‘gstreamer-0.10’ found
configure: error: no gstreamer-0.10 >= 0.10.33 (GStreamer) found
maybe its my fault because I was installing some additional packages with 1-Click install (vlc), but know I will recover my whole system.
