[QUOTE=fadiga;19267]I have a strange issue, which feels like it is a simple fix but cannot seem to get there. I am rather new to Linux. Nonetheless, my problem is that from my machine I sometimes run a virtual windows environment. I do not mean dual boot - from my Linux instance, I launch a Citrix supported remote desktop, kind of like oracle virtual box that kind of thing. The problem is that whenever I hit the caps lock key with the virtual desktop open, it immediately closes it again! I tried to run through the system shortcuts to see if there are any conflicts, but cannot find anything. Does anyone have any tips on how to solve this?
if I got that right, you’re using some client to access a remote Windows server with Citrix add-on from your Linux machine (which does differ from VirtualBox, which runs the MS Windows machine on your local Linux system, in a so-called virtual machine).
Which SLED version are you using? If in doubt, paste/quote the output from “cat /etc/SuSE-release” (open “konsole” or any other program to access a Linux command prompt, enter the command - and use the command “exit” afterward to close the shell if no longer needed).
Which client software do you use to connect to the Citrix server?
Does the problem only occur when that client application has focus, or does it even happen if some other application (i.e. a Firefox window) has focus?
