Requests/s when load balancing issues

Anyone else experiencing low requests per second when load balancing in Rancher?

I have set up 2 hosts with a simple “hello world” http application spread across them.
When i load test against one of the containers directly, i get around 8.000 requests/s.
Adding a simple default load balancer in Rancher spreading the requests between the 2 hosts, i get only around 2.200 requests per second.

I am using wrk for load testing, and just wanted to know if anyone has this issue as well, or a solution to the problem? :slightly_smiling:

Sounds like you are hitting this issue. We are making changes to ipsec that will hopefully resolve this issue.
