Whilst you haven’t cross-posted it’s not generally a good idea to start
threads in multiple forums for the same issue.
For others please note this issue was resolved under the “Sharing
subdirs to multiple hosts using NFS and samba fails” thread in the SLES
Networking forum (see above URL).
