SAP Autostart after OS Reboot

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for guide to setup SAP autostart after OS reboot.
Could you share the guide or some script?

Thank you.

Best regards,
Ramdhan

Hi and welcome to the Forum :slight_smile:
Normally the startup scripts are (for SLES 11) down in /etc/init.d these can either be enabled via chkconfig or via YaST system services.

There is a system guide here;
https://www.suse.com/documentation/sles_for_sap_11/book_s4s/data/book_s4s.html

I would have thought this would be automated during the install?

If there are specific processes to start and there is no init script, there is a /etc/init.d/skeleton template to use for creating your own.

Hi Lewis,

Thanks for your reply, it’s really helpfull.

It’s not automated during install but live system.
We want to configure Oracle DB and SAP will autostart after OS reboot.
If you have experience with it, could you share it to us?

Thanks.
