On website they have written exam is question based?
Does that means, exam will be MCQ based?
80 questions 70% pass
sce_sles_15 exam is question based? or practical tasks basec ?
Hi @Abhijeet ,
(Usual Disclaimer: I do NOT work at/for SUSE).
According to the “SUSE Certified Engineer in SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15” web page - https://training.suse.com/certification/sce-sles-15/ - currently (I’m writing this comment on May 2021) the “Exam is question based”; “Exam Code: sce_sles_15 (previously 050-755)”.
Having said that, I did the SCE (SUSE Certified Engineer) Certification Exam on SLES 12 a few years ago (on December 2017) and, back then, the Exam was a “practicum” one (based on the performance of practical tasks). I suppose that the change from a practical Exam to a multiple choice one is related to SUSE having changed their Exam provider from “Innovative Exams” / “PSI” - https://www.examslocal.com/ - to “Questionmark” - https://www.questionmark.com/ - Related news article / blog post published by Amy Sanford on October 20, 2020 in SUSE’s Official Blog: “New Exam Provider For SUSE Certifications” - https://www.suse.com/c/new-exam-provider-for-suse-certifications/
Ricmarq pretty much hit spot on here.
