SFW2 log files

Hi everybody,
I hope I am posting in the correct location because my issue could be related to hardware not networking and firewall.

If I type the command dmesg
the server returns a lot of messages like this:
SFW2-INext-DROP-DEFLT IN=eth0…
SFW2-INext-ACC-TCP IN=eth0…
so much in fact that the only messages I see start with “SFW2-”

I understand that these messages are coming from the firewall dropping or accepting traffic.

My question is, how can I redirect these messages so they do not fill up dmesg?

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 SP2 (x86_64)

Thank you.
David

Hi
Use YaST log viewer and look at the specific log, eg messages. You can
set a filter there as well.

Else you can just dmesg |grep -v “SFW2”
