I am running SLES11sp1 as Dom0 with a couple of Windows Server 2003 as
virtual machines. Is it possible to shrink the disk image used by the
Windows DomUs.

I do not know of a way, but I’d bet the PlateSpin product line has the
answer. With that in mind, will windows allow this with NTFS normally?
I know technically you can (OpenSUSE’s installer does it for you to
make space for itself) but I do not know how safe it is. What if your
disk is full… is that detected or are data just thrown out, corrupted,
etc.? What about fragmentation that has forever plagued windows
filesystems; are files rearranged when shrinking or are fragments lost
only to be discovered when the files are accessed and found to be
missing data?
