SLE 11 SP2 devel repositories are gone ?

http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/devel:/tools/SLE_11_SP2 ceased to exist as of today.

The earliest available repository under http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/devel:/tools is SLE_11_SP3.

Is this a temporary glitch or does it mean a support for SLE 11 SP2 had actually been terminated?

Thanks for advise.

I’ll have to double-check before giving a definite answer - but please keep in mind that with SLE, the term “supported” is pre-allocated to “supported by SUSE”. That does not cover any repositories or packages on opensuse.org

There are still other SLE11SP2-related repositories at opensuse.org, even sub-packages beneath “devel:/tools:”, so I’d assume it’s either temporary or the developer “feeding” devel:/tools has moved on…

If I find more information, I’ll let you know.

Jens

Hi sergey_o,

I’ve had a look at https://build.opensuse.org/project/users/devel:tools, where you can see the list of maintainers of that project - it might be worth to contact one of them and ask if they’d consider to re-add SLES11SP2 as a target.

Jens
