SLES itself provides libraries for things like SSL and TLS, but you
probably care more about specific applications that may or may not use
those libraries. Care to share which one(s)? If this is about
vulnerabilities in things like POODLE, there are documents from SUSE on
the topic already which may interest you.

Good luck.

I’m guessing by “tls ver 1.x” you specifically mean TLS 1.2 in
which case you may be interested in the Security Module for SLE11
SP3 - see https://www.suse.com/communities/conv
ersations/introducing-the-suse-linux-enterprise-
11-security-module/ (URL may wrap).

Gentlemen, thanks for reply/help.
Yes.
Now I have tls 1.2 on my system, and running “/usr/bin/openssl1 ciphers -v” returns

I have installed openssl1 developer libraries and also openssl1 runtime libraries and executable from Security Module for SLE11, because I want that an apache server installed from sources in a SLES 11 SP3 server supports TLS 1.2.
Now, I can see that ssl module compiled with openssl version 1.0.1, but when I start the apache server I can see that openssl version 0.9.8 is used, so the server doesn’t support TLS 1.2
I have configured an alternative to openssl (via update-alternatives command) to use openssl1 executable, but the server continues using openssl version 0.9.8.
Anybody can help me?
Thanks in advanced and regards
