When doing a simple install of SLES 11 SP3 Xen Host, the install goes through fine. I manually chose to install x11 and gui from the software installation side. When booting to the Xen kernel, the gui freezes and I get multiple errors and x11 forwarding obviously doesn’t work. I was going to boot to the gui initially and disable it later. I couldn’t really get in discernable errors to show up in the x11 log. Several kde4init error show up on the server console, but none of them point me in the right direction.
I don’t really need gui, just need x11 forwarding. It should be simple, but I was curious if there’s a simple guide to just get the x11 forwarding configured. I’m not sure what happened, modified the sshd.config file.
