I tried to install SLE11SP2 domu under SLES10SP4 host. Installation hangs on “Looking for exiting linux partitions…”.
Then I installed SLE11 with SP1 media, installation went fine, but after updating domu host to SP2 it does not boot anymore.
(It look like some blockdevice related issue…)
Should it be supported to run SLE11SP2 under SLE10SP4 dom0?
Or should I just put all my efforts to upgrade cluster to SLE11?

The general rule is that your DomU should not run versions of SLES/SLED
that are newer than what is running in Dom0. Sometimes it will work but
it is best to refer to the product documentation to find out what is
supported.
