too quiet in here...

Ken:

Well, I’ve been busy trying to be artistic, and trying to clean up the
yard. These activities are mutually exclusive.

The latter, which involves getting out the Alligator (a kind of safer
and smaller chain saw) and cutting up parts of the trees and branches
that came down, leaves me tired and with a very sore small of the back.

That makes it difficult to sit at my crafts table and do anything. Of
course, not having all that much artistic talent makes it difficult to
do anything, also, but if I let a lack of talent stop me, I’d have
never bothered with computers.

I miss the humor, also. Sigh. Where has all the humor gone? : )

I don’t get it. Does it mean that he isn’t supposed to be wearing
earmuffs?

If you run out of stuff to cut… Actually I have a tree that needs
to come down. My brother-in-law and I may get to it one of these
days.

Somebody needs to wake those people up.

and hear I thought the ringing was because of all the SysOps slapping
you in the head when they meant to slap you on the back

so I thought I would post, but I don’t have anything of interest to
say. Isn’t that sad. Oh well, back to work.[/color]

Been a little busy around here. Went back to work mid December. I am a
contractor to a contractor to Franciscan Health Systems St. Francis
Hospital in Federal Way doing desktop support. And if that isn’t
interesting enough, Kathy and I have bought a place and are moving on
the 20th of the month to here:
http://search.allegrorealtygroup.com/flyer.html?id=11007971&ln=270007

And just to keep myself really moving, I became the President of Clan
Johnston/e in America this past fall.

Other than all that, I have been twiddling my thumbs.

My retirement pension from the City almost makes my car payment. I
certainly did not expect to be out of work for six months though. I am
at a place now where we work hard but we also can laugh and joke
around. Mucho better than my last gig where I got written up for
laughing at a joke.

As to the move, this is what my living room looks like:

Sounds like a nice improvement. Using any Novell stuff there?

The joys of moving!

I’d rather see the computer room and all the servers you have setup so
as to handle the Clan J traffic
