I have built an OS on susestudio.com 64x and im trying to install it on my AMD A6 Quad-core system wit ATI Radeon Graphics and thats my problem. everytime it gets past GRUB it show 3-4 black bars at the top of the screen and the rest is yellow red pink black white and blue Fuzz like on an old TV when it doesnt have reception or Snow. im using a preload iso and im installing to a usb Hard Drive.
Im new to Linux so this is proving difficult for me
If you are new to Linux I would highly recommend you start with a standard
DVD installation, or maybe a LiveCD for KDE or Gnome, but creating your
own build and then hoping it will work the first time out may be a bit
much for a starter. Have you tried using the 12.3 DVD? If you write it
to a USB/thumb drive the installation is really fast and easy and should
work reliably.
Im sorry I worded that wrong Im very techsavvy but i cant fugure this
out on my own i have made a hackintosh on this computer if that will
help me but yes i did what you said and none worked>:(

If you did a standard install, then that’s what we should troubleshoot
first - we get past that issue, and then it’ll be easier to figure out
what’s not set right in the appliance you’ve built.
