I’m trying to set up HA scenario on two SLES hosts for SAPB1 HA feature. both SLES server are running on VMWare.
one of the prerequisites is to configure three IP addresses: two for the database servers SLES and one as another “},{“attributes”:{“italic”:true,“bold”:true},“insert”:“virtual IP address”},{“insert”:”.
what is the best approach to configure virtual IP here?

the best approach I guess is described in our Best Practices for NetWeaver / S/4HANA / HANA SR. (https://documentation.suse.com/sbp/all/) You can find there an example of the vIP cluster resource. In your special case for SAPB1 I’d recommend to conifugure the whole HANA SR cluster quite close to the HANA SR ScaleUp example:
