Whats's the consequence of remount a root reiser filesystem?

Dear all,

I was required to remount the root reiser filesystem with no notail option.

my suse version is as follow:

Welcome to SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 SP4 (i586) - Kernel \\r (\\l).

currently my filesystem is as follow:

Filesystem Type Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda2 reiserfs 38G 18G 21G 48% /
udev tmpfs 2.0G 84K 2.0G 1% /dev
synology:/volume6/astronergy
               nfs 1.5T 1.1T 389G 74% /data

is there any consequences if I do the following:

mount / -o remount,notail

thanks
