I’m involved with the Arca Noae development of ArcaOS, our upcoming licensed
OS/2 distribution, and was hoping to include the NetWare Requester for OS/2
in the ISO.
Anybody here know where would I go these days to request official permission
to distribute this?
I did some rooting around on the website, and didn’t find anything
that looked to me like a likely place to go, other than to call the
corporate offices and start asking there. If you’re in the US, start
with the Provo office at Tel: +1-801-861-7000. Just be prepared for
it to take awhile to find the right person. You might start with
licensing.

Thanks so much for this, Susan. Indeed, I’m in the US (east coast), so
calling Provo is pretty easy. Your results make me feel better about my own
abilities, at least, as I, too, came up rather short when looking for an
appropriate contact on the site.
A parallel path you may want to try is to email entitlements@microfocus.com as
that should take you to the folks that handle licensing and if anyone knows, I
assume they should. Good luck in your search. OS/2 - That’s a blast from the
past.
