win7 boot options

Anyone know a way to set the ‘default’ recovery boot option on windows
7 to be boot normally instead of recovery boot, via GPO would be great.

I’ve been doing some google searches & haven’t seemed to find much yet,
maybe someone has better search techniques than I (probably so).

See if this is on point:

bcdedit /set {default} bootstatuspolicy ignoreallfailures

Found with the search:

how to set windows 7 default recovery boot option to boot normal

Very glad to have been able to help. I’ve found that for quite a lot of
computer issues, just stating it simply as the search criteria often
works. It doesn’t work all the time, but if it doesn’t, it often brings
up something that leads to finding the answer. : )

This never used to work, so us old timers who remember when floppies didn’t
fit in a shirt pocket… Wait, it was Stevo?.. /VBG

Ciao, Dave

So my response to Dave’s comment is…

I remember when they were actual floppy disks, but I was in school at
the time, not working in the field.

Stevo

Then it’s time for old dogs to learn new tricks, Dave.
