Do you know that General Support for SLED 11 SP1 ended some time ago? Unless you have purchased Long Term Service Pack Support you are no longer getting any bug fix or security updates and as such should really update to SLED 11 SP3. (There is no supported upgrade path from SP1 to SP3 http://www.novell.com/support/kb/doc.php?id=7012368 so you need to either do a clean install of SP3 or update to SP2 first http://www.novell.com/support/kb/doc.php?id=7010200)

As for the problem you started the thread for, can you provide some more information on what you have checked? For example: are you absolutely certain there is no object for the machine in Active Directory? Could it be that there is an object but it’s not where you expect, did you do a search of the entire Domain? Does the machine allow Domain users to log in?
