New versions of all SLES 11 SP3 images were published yesterday, including a fully patched version of glibc in order to prevent CVE-2015-0235, (the ‘Ghost’ vulnerability). We recommend starting new SLES 11 SP3 instances from version 1/27/2015 if you’re using the management portal, or with the following image names on the command line:

These images are available in all Azure regions except Australia. We’ll post an update when Australian images are available.
