2 internet links, 1 server, balance

Hi,

Does anyone knows how to balance 2 internet links at one SLES 11.
At this server I have already one internet link (adsl) with a squid
proxy service, know I get another link and a need to balance both.

What is your end goal in this operation? Do you only care about
outbound traffic or also inbound and, if inbound, how will customers
reach you over both links (how will their desired access to your service
hit either of two different networks, not just IPs)?

Good luck.

Hi cohabcp,

I asked the same question a week ago in this thread:
http://forums.novell.com/suse/suse-product-discussion-forums/suse-linux-enterprise/suse-linux-enterprise-server-sles/sles-networking/448538-web-surfing-via-specific-interface.html

There doesn’t seem to be any easy way to do this with a simple change
to a config file. All -I- want to do is to surf via a specific
interface/ISP. It is going to get much more complicated when you try to
balance traffic across both interfaces and configure the server so that
it fails over to the working interface when one interface/ISP is down.

A good place to start would be the book I referred to in the other
thread.
