There currently is no support for 32bit EFI in opensuse. There is
feature request that support be added.
The method you are using might be your best current option. Once you
get opensuse installed, you could adapt your method to boot the
installed system. Or perhaps look into using “elilo”.

Thanks for your response. I think 32 bit EFI is on few devices and it
may be the reason why it is not supported yet. I don’t know for sure.
I’ll check elilo’s doc and when I get t my pc during this moth, I’ll try
installing OpenSuse in a usb and booting it to use yast to set it for
EFI if there is a setting for that.
