Access Web App on LAN

The LAN consists of two PCs, one runs on SUSE Linux 11, another Windows[/B] 7. Both of them are connected to a Modem/Router to form a LAN.

First, both PCs can ping each other well.

Now, PC linux starts the IBM WAS and run (on this PC) the web page http://192.168.1.10/TestWeb. The page successfully shows up.

Next, run off the PC (windows) the web page http://192.168.1.10/TestWeb. The page does not shows up. (No specific error, just mentioning the server take too long to connect. Time out).

What could be wrong?

Hi
Have you opened port 80 on the firewall? YaST-> Firewall and select
‘allowed services’, in the dropdown on the right select the httpd server
