Accessing external longhorn from separate Kubernetes cluster

Hey all,

I’m working on setting up a home lab, and have a couple of Kubernetes clusters running in virtualbox. I have successfully tested deploying Longhorn in one of the clusters, which was very exciting to see it just work out of the box.

That said, I’d like to utilize that instance of Longhorn from my other cluster, so I only have one instance to manage, and to practice remote connectivity.

Is this something that Longhorn currently supports?

Thank you.

Currently Longhorn doesn’t support this feature. But we’re thinking about it. See https://github.com/longhorn/longhorn/issues/1050

Ah, glad I asked. I’ll keep an eye on the issue.

Thank you.

What happened to this, did it work? Is is supported now?
