apcupsd does not find UPS device

Hi there
I am trying to configure “UPS Lyonn ULT-2000VT” with apcupsd in SLES11SP3, is connected via USB, below is the apcupsd.conf

apcaccess to run shows error: “Error Contacting apcupsd @ localhost: 3551: Connection refused”,
This error is because when the service starts /usr/sbin/apcupsd stops after 3 seconds, indicating errors that did not find the device.

http://www.apcupsd.com look into the cases of failure, change udev rules thinking it may be because you do not show the /dev/usb/hiddev, but after editing files without understanding and not make it work … .'m here to ask :slight_smile:

I have to configure some of the udev usb to work? or simply SES11 no driver for Lyonn?

Below I leave errors:

# cat /var/log/apcupsd.events Thu Jul 17 12:12:21 ART 2014 apcupsd FATAL ERROR in linux-usb.c at line 609 Cannot find UPS device -- For a link to detailed USB trouble shooting information, please see <http://www.apcupsd.com/support.html>. I thought apcupsd was for use with an APC UPS which you don’t have …

Hi
The reason i asked about the usb info was the other option is NUT;
It shows the blazer_usb driver as supporting the CTB-1200 model
http://www.networkupstools.org/stable-hcl.html

Might be worth further investigation.
