BACKUP AND UPGRADE

Hi All,
Anyone help me out on the points below, I am having little knowledge of Linux.

  1. Want to take image backup of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP4.
  2. Need to upgrade SLES 11.4 to SLES 15.
    What is the best practice to do that if someone helps me out.
    NOTE: We have a HANA database installed on SLES 11.4 that wants to upgrade HANA 2.0.

maybe this can help:
Upgrading from SLES 11 SP4 is only supported via an offline upgrade. Refer to Section 1.2, “Online and Offline Upgrade” for details. Upgrading from SLES 12 SP2 or older service packs directly is not supported. You need at least SLES 12 SP3 before you can proceed to SLES 15 SP1.
