I have this problem on a Fujitsu rx200 s7 with sles11 sp3. Does anyone else have this problem?
This message come with mounting a usb-stick with ntfs, fat32 and with a usb-dasd-device with ntfs.
Are you talking about:
- A USB stick with both NTFS and FAT32 partitions on it
OR
- A USB stick which has only NTFS partition on it and a different USB stick that has only FAT32 on it.
Do you have the package ntfs-3g installed? It’s not included in SLES but it’s in the SLE-SDK which can be obtained from http://download.novell.com/Download?buildid=hF8sRGTVC04~ (You only need DVD1, DVD2 is sources. The download page fails to explain this.)
Hi
Can you post the output from dmesg when you connect each of the
devices. How big is the dasd storage and the USB devices with ntfs and
fat32.
