DHCP Startup

NOES2 SP3
SLES10 SP3
XEN Paravirtualized on SLES11 SP1
DHCP V3.0.7

On Start up of the DHCP daemon the following error is returned:

socket: Address family not supported by protocol - make sure CONFIG_PACKET
(Packet socket) and CONFIG_FILTER (Socket Filtering) are enabled in your
kernel
configuration!

DHCP never starts. Did get it to work on another indentical guest w/o
installing any updates to that server after the server build. That, of
course is a work around and not a solution.

Please, any ideas on this.

This was posted a year ago w/o any resolution. Perhaps there is some
interest at this time.

Thanks,
JoeK
