Does it support Debian/Ubuntu to be registered as a client?

Hi Guys,

Does Suse Manager support Debian/Ubuntu to be registered as a client?
If so, how to do that?

Thanks!

I’m afraid not - only SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, Micro Focus
Open Enterprise Server, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux are
currently supported. Please see https://www.sus

Hi Simon,

Are there plans to do so it the future or is this a political/commercial/other decision? It would be handy for the customers we support to have a central management console for managing SLES, RHES and Ubuntu/Debian clients.

It’s not a technical limitation since the upstream project (spacewalk 2.6) supports this. Please contact your SUSE representative with this request.
